Tom joined ALG in 2008 on the Opening Celebration for 1st Asia-Pacific Outgames, as Production Assistant. Shortly afterwards he was offered a full time position and later became the Company Administrator.
Tom was quick to adapt, to his flexible and a people orientated role. He oversaw all ALG Human Resources Management including:
- New employee compliance, welcome and orientation;
- Payroll;
- Project Volunteer Coordination.
In the events and entertainment context, Tom lead casting, artist contracting, travel and accommodation and payroll management for several clients. Tom’s role included aspects of project finance including;
- Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable;
- Quickbooks data entry;
- Petty Cash.
Importantly, Tom was the organisation’s manager of all project box office & ticketing requirements. For our clients Midsumma Festival, Festival of Broadway, Australian Shakespeare Festival and UTAS Conservatorium of Music Tom oversaw all event ticket builds, telephone and online sales as well as box office management and personnel.
