The largest festival of its kind in the world, Vivid Sydney runs from 25 May to 16 June 2018. Sydney’s multi award-winning festival of light, music and ideas presents another innovative and awe-inspiring creative program over 23 days and nights.
Ensured the accessibility and inclusion of the Vivid Sydney festival experience, coordinating accessible infrastructure, services, and stakeholder communication across the event precincts.
Responsibilities
- Liaised with government departments on access and inclusion policies and compliance
- Coordinated with stakeholders to identify and meet accessibility needs
- Managed and maintained designated accessible viewing areas across festival sites
- Oversaw accessible entry routes and exhibit access points throughout the precincts
- Coordinated accessible minibus parking and transport logistics
- Supported the operations department with accessibility-related planning and delivery

Contributed to a more inclusive and accessible festival environment, enhancing the experience for all attendees and setting a strong standard for accessibility in large-scale public events.
