The Role
Supported the Operations team for the largest international staging of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in its history — a three-night production at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium featuring over 1,500 performers including the world’s foremost pipers, drummers and military musicians.
The role focused on the operational logistics required to bring a world-renowned ceremonial production into a stadium-scale Australian venue, working alongside both the touring British production team and the local operations crew.
The Work
- Assisted with the operational delivery of three consecutive performance nights for stadium-scale audiences
- Supported coordination between the visiting Tattoo production team and Sydney venue operations
- Supported day-of logistics across performer movements, staging transitions, and infrastructure setup
- Provided general operational support to the Operations Manager as required
The Outcome
Contributed to the successful Australian staging of one of the world’s most internationally recognised ceremonial productions, playing a practical role in delivering an event that drew audiences from across Australia and overseas.

About This Project
The largest Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo ever staged is marching into the harbour city for three days at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park from 17 – 19 October.
Set against a full-size replica of Edinburgh Castle, the renowned Scottish spectacular will bring together over 1500 of the world’s finest pipers, drummers, military musicians and performers for an inimitable mix of music, ceremony, military tradition, theatre and Celtic folklore.
