The Role

Joined the Stage Management team for this one-night royal showcase, supporting the technical and operational delivery of a 2-hour celebration performed for Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

The performance brought together artists from six leading institutions — Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, National Institute of Circus Art, The Australian Ballet, The Australian Ballet School, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, and the Victorian State Schools Spectacular — into a single curated program with no margin for error and the highest possible audience profile.

The Work

  • Supported the bump in to ensure this was executed safely and delivered on time
  • Coordinated backstage logistics for a tightly choreographed 2-hour program
  • Supported security and protocol coordination required for the royal audience

The Outcome

Contributed to the seamless delivery of a high-stakes one-night-only performance attended by senior members of the British royal family. The production demonstrated what was possible when established institutions collaborate to showcase Victorian talent on an international stage.
