As an international city of artistic innovation, Melbourne was a perfect match to join the international network of White Night events around the world. In just six years, White Night Melbourne has quickly become one of the most popular events on the city’s social calendar.
2018 saw the expansion of White Night Melbourne to regional areas to create White Night Ballarat, White Night Bendigo and White Night Geelong.
2019 saw a transformation to White Night Reimagined, a three-night winter spectacular across three of Melbourne’s inner-city parks and gardens. 

Role detail

The focus of these roles was to prepare the Event Operations Centre and coordinate it's smooth running during the event, and be part of the operations team to deliver the event

The focus of this role was to make sure the Event Operations Centre ran smoothly by liaising with risk management consultants regarding the needs & execution of EOC
– liaise with service stakeholders regarding needs in EOC;
– Arrange catering & infrastructure (furniture/IT/Security);
– Assist Head of Operations as needed;
– Schedule & manage all deliveries to EOC;
– Set up space as per room design;
– Liaise with security provider & manage EOC;
– Assist stakeholders as needed;

Operations Coordinator (White Night Bendigo, White Night Geelong, White Night Reimagined)
The focus in this role was the smooth running of the food truck offerings during the event, as well as catering for the full company, and managing the program and directional signage by collating Food Truck applications, ensuring all required paperwork and attachments have been submitted;
– Assist with the assessment process of Food Truck applications & notify applicants on the outcome of their application;
– Liaise with Technical Manager to ensure power requirements for all Food Trucks are delivered by the relevant supplier;
– Prepare and distribute briefing documentation for Food Truck operators;
– Organise catering for the Event Operations Centre, Green Rooms, Staff Hub, and at any pre-event briefing sessions as required;
– Assist Operations Managers with the development of signage plans for all operational & programming signage;
– Coordinate the production of program signage in liaison with Program Manager, sticking to the relevant print deadlines;
– Liaise with all departments to assess reserved parking requirements pre, during, & post-event;
– Compile schedule of all reserved parking and liaise with Site Managers to ensure reserved bays are cordoned off according to schedule;
– Assist Operation Managers as needed.
