It is a story of love and joy, set to one of the most glorious, unforgettable scores ever written, including Shall We Dance, I Whistle A Happy Tune, Hello Young Lovers, Getting To Know You, I Have Dreamed and Something Wonderful.

For decades, THE KING AND I captivated millions with its delightful story of Anna Leonowens, brought to the court of Siam as tutor to the King’s children.

This is a dazzling musical celebration, a sumptuous production with stunning scenery and magnificent costumes, definitely an event not to be missed.

Supported the Company Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the touring production, ensuring the company ran efficiently and cohesively to meet the high standards expected by producers and audiences. This included co-managing a company of more than 130 members, including 80 children.

Responsibilities

  • Managed staff timesheets and payroll preparation, including pay advice distribution
  • Maintained company files and documentation (electronic and hard copy)
  • Administered company house seat allocations
  • Managed petty cash for Company Management and processed reconciliations from all departments
  • Liaised with IT departments at touring venues and provided technical troubleshooting as required
  • Coordinated publicity arrangements for company members
  • Chaperoned artists to radio, television, and print media appearances
  • Arranged travel and accommodation for the full touring company
