About Vass Theatre Group
Vass Theatre Group is a collaborative and supportive arts organisation. It owns and operates Alex Theatre St Kilda and has spent over eight million dollars in refurbishing this theatre. The refurbishment represents one of the largest private investments in the arts in Australia in recent times.
My Role
I was engaged by Vass Theatre Group to oversee the operations of Alex Theatre St Kilda — a new live performance venue built by renovating the former cinema complex, George Cinema. As a theatre all-rounder with experience both on stage and backstage, I brought a perspective that helped me understand the needs of every level of production calling Alex Theatre home.
