At Challenging Minds, we recognise the many challenges we often face, which can be complex. We aim to challenge ourselves in finding the most effective, supportive way of working with people while recognising and addressing the many challenges that people may face when wanting to change. By change; we refer to resuming, maintaining or moving towards the vision of one’s “best self”.

Our service supports people who may be experiencing difficulties and challenges resulting from mental health concerns, significant life events or disability. We believe that disability should not define people, but rather our talents and strengths as individuals should – something that often ignored or forgotten.


Applying the knowledge and expertise from past arts management projects, I have played an integral part in the development and operations of this business. This role has been part of Challenging Minds from its inception and is responsible for not only the acquisition and configuration of all IT systems and processes but also instrumental in brand development, policy and procedure and daily operations.

This role is responsible for the acquisition, rollout and management of the website, the email and electronic filing systems via Office 365 (as well as the deployment of various Microsoft products) and the different software used to throughout the business including Xero and Moodle (training software), and now manages payroll. This role has produced the design and implantation of the electronic filing file structure, access hierarchy and file naming convention to make a solid base for the daily running of this business.
